If you have children and you meet certain requirements, you may be able to get health care coverage for your children from the Arizona State Children's Health Insurance Program called KidsCare. Arizona has two state health insurance programs that may help you get insurance, one for children and one for uninsured small businesses. Other individual and group plans available. |

Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System AHCCCS Care The AHCCCS Care program provides medical coverage, such as doctor's office visits, hospitalization, prescriptions, lab work, and behavioral health services.

AHCCCS for Families with Children (AFC) AHCCCS for Families with Children (AFC) provides medical coverage, such as doctor's office visits, hospitalization, prescriptions, lab work, and behavioral health services to families. To qualify, there must be a child in the household under the age of 18 years (or 19 years if a full-time student).

Baby Arizona Baby Arizona is a simple, faster way for pregnant women to apply for AHCCCS medical coverage under the federal SOBRA program, a category of AHCCCS members. Who should apply? Pregnant women who have no insurance, low income and are United States citizens, lawful permanent residents or qualified under certain immigrant categories. |

Medicare Cost Sharing (MCS) The Medicare Cost Sharing (MCS) or Medicare Savings programs provide help with Medicare expenses for people who are age 65 or older, blind, or disabled. There is no limit on resources, such as cash, bank accounts, stocks, or bonds. Applicants for all programs must be eligible for Medicare Part A hospital insurance. |
Well Woman HealthCheck Program The Well Woman HealthCheck Program is a state–wide program that provides free cancer screening to women that qualify. |
AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) The Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) is responsible for the administration of ADAP for the state of Arizona. ADAP provides access to medications used to treat HIV and prevent the onset of related opportunistic infections to low-income individuals with HIV disease who have limited or no coverage from private insurance or Medicaid. |
