Whatever your health
insurance needs are in, you will find a great
selection of choices in each state. Choose the plan that
meets your specific coverage needs at a price you can afford!
Our goal is to give you one of the widest selections of
choices available on a single website. You should find
this site a convenient, one–stop shopping experience.
Individual plans we offer include traditional
indemnity, PPO (Preferred Provider Organization)
and HMO
(Health Maintenance Organization) plans. Health Savings
Accounts or HSA plans
are available in several deductibles and personal plan designs
as well. These allow trade–off between freedom–of–choice
and completeness of health care coverage.
You can also request quotes for your
small business or
group health employee benefits. Healthcare benefits that
are available depend on the health plans offered in the
County where your business is located. Simply download the
Quote Request
and Employee Census forms
and enter your company and employee data. Then fax the request
to us for review.
Select temporary health
coverage to meet
short–term needs.
Online quotes and
applications from available companies are available to
give you as many options as possible.
Coverage can start as early as
tomorrow.
You will also find information
available on State assistance
programs.
Oregon Health Insurance
You will find plenty of choices for individual health
insurance, senior Medicare plans, both small and large
employer group plans, individual and group dental, and
short term medical plans. Oregon has a high risk pool,
the Oregon Medical Insurance Pool (OMIP), if you don’t
qualify for health insurance medically. State continuation
provides for extending coverage for up to six months for
small groups under 20 employees.
Washington Health Insurance
Washington State has fewer choices than Oregon in all
categories with only one choice for short term medical
coverage. We have provided all of the available choices
that we know of to give you a complete shopping experience.
Generally approval for individual coverage is easier in
Washington, but they also has a high-risk pool, Washington
State Health Insurance Pool (WSHIP), just in case you need
it.
Arizona Health Insurance
Arizona has the most choices of all for individual health
insurance, but does not currently have a high risk pool to
fall back on in case you are not approved. Rates vary by
health status on groups. We also offer a limited benefit
plan as an option here.
Idaho Health Insurance
Idaho has very few companies to choose from right more but
should increase soon. You have to apply to a company to
find out rates they will offer you on all their plans.
You then have the option of accepting a plan or not. Idaho
has High Risk Pool (HRP) plans available if needed.
Nevada Health Insurance
Nevada individual health insurance is available subject to
how healthy you are when you apply. You can be turned down
for insurance, offered insurance with pre–existing
condition limitations that can vary in how long they are
imposed, offered insurance with a limitation rider excluding
specific coverage, or offered insurance whose rate varies
with how healthy you are. There is no high risk pool in
Nevada to fall back on if you do get turned down. You can
purchase a limited benefit plan regardless of your health
condition if necessary.
Utah Health Insurance
Utah health insurance is undergoing exciting changes with
the passage of new laws aimed at expanding health insurance
coverage and making it more affordable. Employees of small
businesses will now have an option to choose between the
employer provided group coverage or using a set amount of
money (called defined contribution) and purchasing individual
coverage on their own. Limited benefit plans can now be
offered including the Utah NetCare Plan, a low–cost
option to COBRA, continuation and conversion policies.
HIPUtah, Utah Health Re-Insurance Pool helps subsidizes the
program and serves as the insurance of last resort for
individuals who don’t qualify for health insurance.
Colorado Health Insurance
Colorado has a large selection of health insurance companies
to choose from. Colorado also requires insurance companies to
provide a standard description form describing benefits,
deductibles, emergency, inpatient and out-patient care,
out–of–pocket annual and lifetime expense
maximums and other benefit information. This is available
upon request and can make comparing health plans easier.
Health insurance companies are allowed to reject applicants
based on preexisting medical conditions. Cover Colorado is
the State’s high risk pool to use if you are rejected for
coverage, offered a policy with a premium that is higher
than the pool premium, or offered a policy with a
pre–existing condition exclusion.
New Mexico Health Insurance
In New Mexico you also have to qualify for individual health
insurance based on your health at the time of application.
You may qualify for insurance, possibly with
pre–existing condition limitations or exclusion riders,
or be turned down. If you have been refused individual
coverage, the New Mexico Medical Insurance Pool (NMMIP) is
in place to provide coverage for New Mexico residents. The
New Mexico Health Insurance Alliance can provide coverage
for qualifying self-employed individuals, HIPAA eligible
individuals, and small businesses.
